Dr Marie Chivers is the CEO of Facilipharma, a market access consultancy. Marie worked within Immupatch during her doctoral studies, developing dissolvable microneedles for vaccine delivery. Marie’s career began within secondary product formulation, process development and scale-up of small molecule products, with LEO Pharma and GSK. Marie co-hosted the Microneedles 2016 conference as part of her drug delivery technology role at GSK. Since then, Marie has worked as a Director within Avalere Health (formerly PRMA Consulting). In this role Marie provided consulting support to global pharmaceutical teams (J&J, BMS, Incyte, AbbVie, Medtronic) preparing for new product launch. This involves developing strategic dossiers for market access and understanding pricing, reimbursement and evidence requirements. Marie is a member of the ISPOR digital health special interest group. Marie will present work conducted with Dr Waleed Faisal, Array patch to further our understanding of payor / decision-maker perspective, value (evidence) pricing and reimbursement considerations for microneedles and related technologies.
